Maybe he’ll show up in Fighters Pass Vol. Unfortunately though, it sounds like nothing has actually been agreed between them and Nintendo as yet, and with Sakurai making the point that all six of the new fighters have already been decided, we can probably rule Doomguy out of Fighters Pass Vol. All three cosmetics will be available on. Also being released are an Octoling wig and Judd the cat hat from the Splatoon series. The game has practically become a digital videogame museum after all. The costume pack contains more than just Doom Slayer armor, though. It’s great to hear iD are so keen for a character with the history that Doomguy has to make an appearance in Smash.

We have a great relationship with them through bringing Doom 2016 to Switch and that kind of stuff. As it turns out, developer iD Software have had similar ideas. There’s a number of fans out there who have called for Doomguy’s inclusion - the slayer of Doom fame.
With the first Fighters Pass now completed (or at least it will be when Byleth arrives next week), thoughts have inevitably turned to just who will be included in Fighters Pass Vol.
