You’ll have to wait for the process until it gets completed. Crackling sound can be fixed by adding tsched0 to /etc/pulse/default. Origin client is mildly buggy, just keep trying and force-quitting if needed until it works. Now, click on Properties > Go to Local Files. Origin in-game overlay does not work with this game, disable it in the application settings. Right-click on Titanfall 2 from the list of installed games. Now, click on Repair On Steam: Launch Steam > Click on Library. The game will tear in windowed mode and in game v-sync options will cause the game to run at an unplayable framerate. After at least one person joined you can also go back to the normal multiplayer lobby. Once you are in the private match lobby, you can invite your friends and they can join you via Origin. You will still be able to accept and create network invites and join other friends lobbies, but to open your own lobby you will need to first open a private macth lobby (You don't need to start the private match).
